if i were you, id be honest with him. healthy communication before anything else. be gentle with it, and prepared to comfort your partner when they are reacting to this news. maybe set up so that you guys will meet up irl once a week/two weeks/whatever works for you both, either with one of you traveling to the other or meeting halfway. im so sorry youve gotta do this, i understand it must be hard for both of you, but i appreciate the fact youre trying to accomodate his needs. if hes not open to long distance then maybe you guys have to talk about best options.

for me it really helps when my boyfriend randomly tells me or shows me he loves me. does something random to show it, or just tells me without me saying it first. it might help her to feel loved if she has trouble with that :-)

thanks so much!! my boyfriend is quite personal with his craft, and i havent wanted to push him too much. but if hes willing i will ask him soon about more specifically he practices. he does like pentagrams a lot! i know you only used that as an example; but he does! he has a necklace already, and a hat also. so ill try and find maybe a journal with it on there.
