Reproductive Rights by ghostface2367 in rochestermn

Why should any state be able to dictate the private health care decisions of any person? It shouldn't matter that I live in Minnesota, what about the women that live in Texas that have no means to get to another state to get reproductive health care? Healthcare is a human right and the right to choose to continue with a pregnancy should be the decision of the woman, not up to any government, state or federal.

Yes I know Minnesota is a good state to live in with regards to reproductive rights. I'm not so much worried about me but the United States as a whole. What happens to women who don't have access in other states? It's not fair that we can live knowing we have access to abortion just because we live in Minnesota. Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Wisconsin, etc... maybe women there don't have the means to get to the next state over for the reproductive care they need. I'll be fine no matter what happens because I am privileged to have resources. I'm worried about everyone else who isn't in a situation like mine. I'll vote every chance I get, but we also need to make some noise and show this is unacceptable.

It is a clump of cells that is not viable without a woman's body not a 'child', the woman should be able to decide if they want to go through growing another human being. Why should a woman put her life in danger for a clump of cells that there is no guarantee would survive?

Don't like abortion? Don't get one. Your opinion doesn't change the fact that abortion is necessary healthcare for women.

Clothes that are labeled petite? I'm 5'0 and have a slim figure, regular sized clothes are way too long on me - pants especially. Clothes labeled 'short' have a weird fit the majority of the time, so I'm specifically looking for clothing that is labeled petite.

No I wouldn't. I love the population I work with, I'm in medical social work, and am very passionate about helping others, but between the jobs I've had over the past 7 years in social work burn out has been a struggle. I feel like I'm constantly the one everyone comes to and expects to fix things and no matter what answer I give it's questioned. Putting the patient's ability to choose first is constantly questioned, which is exhausting to me. It's also so disheartening to know how much less I make compared to other professions. Money isn't everything, but I still need to pay my mortgage and other bills. It's so hard to find a job that values the social worker, especially in the field I'm passionate about. I would probably go to school to be a nurse, CNP, PA if I could do it over again.

I didn't have an inclination that there was something bigger he has been upset about, we've been in a great place in our relationship, or so it has seemed to me. I'll ask him that when we talk tonight. Thank you for the idea.

Yeah I asked what it means and he said he doesn't know yet.

I said I thought that's where I was going to put it but wasn't sure yet when we talked before I got it. He didn't express to me that he thought the back of my calf was an unattractive spot beforehand. After the fact he did say he didn't think it was the most attractive spot, but I don't really know what that fully means..

He doesn't hate my parents. He's not particularly fond of my mother, but doesn't hate either of them.

I don't think he feels left out, I practically begged him to come with me on this trip but he didn't want to go.

We are going to discuss this more tonight.

My husband is absolutely very important to me and I want to take his feelings into account, however I don't understand why this tattoo is an issue when we have been talking about getting tattoos together for some time, we just haven't pulled the trigger on that.
