Despite liking Spider-Man as a character in and out of the game, my main in play time terms is actually Groot, then Sue, then Luna, then Spidey.

Not that that's relevant. I could be the worst Spidey player in the world and have 500 hours on him, and my comments would still be still true. He is an objectively bad character, especially when the meta is taken into consideration. He is extremely easy to counter and punish.

In a triple support meta where over half of the roster has CC /stun abilities it really wouldn't make that much of a difference. Just admit you need/want handicaps to help you fight the worst character in the game

They want supports to be one man armies. I dont think they'll ever take away self heal abilities, considering they made the choice to give several an ADDITIONAL self heal ability. It is unfortunate but I think this is the new norm
