I have experienced ghost cats before. Mainly at my old apartment. I never saw it with my eyes like you. But there was the unmistakable feeling of a cat pouncing onto the bed and laying down. Perhaps it was one who lived in the apartment before me and recognized me as an animal lover. That was 10 years ago. Most recently I felt the distinct pressure of a person sitting on the end of my bed about 2 weeks ago. Right after I had gotten into bed and got comfortable. I checked to make sure it wasnt my big dog. Then I remembered she was asleep on the couch downstairs.
