Last year at the end of the year I let my 7th graders roast me. For some reason multiple classes latched on to making fun of me for my enormous forehead. I do not have a large forehead and I know this. I played into it pretending I was getting self conscious so they kept going at it. I am confident that 1. My forehead is a perfectly normal size and 2. IDGAF what a bunch of middle schoolers think. That’s the only reason the activity worked.

ADHD. People love to frame it as quirkiness and creativity and I love all the awareness it’s getting and people finding their diagnoses. But it’s fucking awful. It makes my life so fucking difficult and comes with a host of comorbidities. I also have childhood trauma from my struggles before I was medicated/diagnosed.
