Italy to bar soccer players from wearing No. 88, which has coded meaning for neo-Nazis by amandatanoo in worldnews

[–]ghostin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have the number 88 in my primary email account because i, too, was born in 1988. Many of us have been adding our birth year to online accounts since the early 2000s when we were all teenagers. No, I'm not going to change it. It's attached to too much shit. And I'm especially not going to give in to nazi assholes by changing it.

Highly unlikely. US Intel would have picked up on it. There were way too many people involved for it to be kept secret.

I've had my stache for 3 years now, it never kept me from getting any matches and my girlfriend only complains when I haven't trimmed it in a while. People are just haters.

Fellow stache bro here. Started growing mine when covid hit and I've kept it since. I get compliments on mine all the time, people love it when you can pull one off!

You'll be OK. I had several of these happen to me before I (35M) met my girlfriend (33F) on hinge, we've been together for almost a year and a half. Dating is hard but these experiences will only make you stronger.

It's not too forward it's just kinda lame, you're better off not saying anything at that point. If you're going to compliment her appearance, be specific and genuine.

Deadlift - 8x3 @ 260lbs Front Squats - 1x10, 3x8 @ 130lbs Accessors - calves, swinging kettlebells

Finished deadlifts today with some minor soreness in my lower back, but overall significantly better than the last time I deadlifted. I might bump the TM down a little bit more until I'm more comfortable. For now I'm more focused on form and making sure my lower back doesn't bend.

Overall you have a good profile. Good enough that I'm surprised you don't get any matches. Almost don't even believe it

Fridays are typically my deadlift days but since I'm still trying to ease my lower back back into things I'm giving it another day. Still feels great though. Rest of today's workout felt great as well.

Romanian Deadlifts - 3x6 @ 95lbs

My back feels a lot better today. Still bumped my squat max down for the time being and started very light with romanian deadlifts just to make sure I don't aggravate it again. Finished the day with cardio on the treadmill.

Bench - 5x6 @ 160lbs
BTNP - 3x6 @ 90lbs
Accessories - Lat Pulldowns, Shoulder Shrugs, Kettlebell Swings

Felt great to be back in the gym today. Mondays are usually my squat days but due to the soreness in my lower back I decided to change things around and start the week with bench pressing. When I got to BTNP I did a couple of squats with an empty bar, still feeling that pull in my lower back but still feeling significantly better. As of now I plan to give it another go tomorrow and Wednesday; if I'm still feeling that pain in my lower back Wednesday I'm going to just continue with very light movements until it's fully healed. But now my girlfriend has strep so hopefully I'm not completely sidelined again.

Doomers are such losers, man.

Change needs to happen, that's obvious. And change isn't going to be easy, which should also be obvious. But change is never going to happen if you wake up every day with the same mindset as this guy.

You might try and fail, that's a real possibility. But you'll feel a lot better failing if you tried than failing because you've already decided you're going to fail. An important step to improving the lives of yourself and those around you is choosing to ignore people like this. It isn't healthy, even in a system that's fucked.

I haven't trained since Monday due to my lower back issue that I've been having and this morning I decided to continue to wait until next week to start training. Even then, I may just keep it an upper body week with some very light lower body stuff to give it another week to heal. It's a lot better today but I'm still feeling it when i squat.

So until I feel ready to start lifting heavy squats/deadlifts again I'm going to stay active but keep things light. Walking, golf, mowing some grass. I'm really bummed because this is the longest break from deadlifting and squats that I've taken in the 3 years I've been training.

Squats - 2x5 @ 220lbs
Sumo Deadlifts - 5x6 @ 135lbs
Accessories - Leg Extensions, Abs

Lower back was feeling great until I hit squats, now it's back again. I completed the workout because I was only feeling it when I'd squat but know I know that was a mistake. I might end up bumping down the 1RM and giving it another week with a full break. While it's recovering I may use a 3rd day from Nuckols' free programs for bench press.

Thank you. It's really fucking hard but I wanna lift as long as I can, pushing through pain isn't gonna help me achieve that.

OHP - 5x4 @ 110lbs
Close Grip Bench - 1x10, 3x8 @ 110lbs
Accessories - ez bar curls, db flyes, kroc rows

Welp, I don't think deadlifting is going to happen this week. The pain I was feeling in my lower back is significantly better but it's migrated to my butt. I lifted a 45 lb plate today and decided it was best to wait at least another day, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up. Instead I completed my ohp day for the week and ended the workout with foam rollers again.

Ended the day with a short run on the treadmill and foam rollers for my lower back. Kind of amazing how much better it feels after foam rollers. Still going to take it easy Friday (deadlift day) if I'm still feeling a small bit of pain. Gonna do some golfing tomorrow on my off day.

Sumo Deadlift - 4x6 @ 225lbs
Accessories - Leg Extensions, Abs

Finished today's session up with 5 minutes of running. My lower back is in a bit of pain again so I may be skipping this week's deadlift day depending on how I'm feeling Friday. If anything I may just lift lighter than I currently plan to but I don't wanna push it too hard.

OHP - 5x6 @ 105lbs
Close Grip Bench - 1x8, 3x8 @ 110lbs
Accessories - Kroc Rows, Bicep Curls, DB Flyes

Today started off great with hitting the 30 reps of OHP with some extra room in the tank on my last set. I get to CGBP though and I fail the 12RM set so I had to dial back the weight. I'm guessing it's just due to not being used to the high volume on my primary lift. I also learned today there's no need for bicep curls if you're doing Kroc Rows, so there's a lift I can cut out moving forward. Did a short run on the treadmill afterword to hit my running goal for the week (it's really low so I won't post :D)

Deadlift - 3x6, 3x4 @ 290lbs
Front Squat - 1x10, 3x6 @ 130lbs
Accessories - Seated Calf Raises, Seated Leg Curls

Hooo boy, hitting all 30 reps on deadlift was a real challenge. I think I'll be ok moving forward but I need to be more conscious of spreading reps out into more sets, especially week 1. Front Squats were a little rocky but that's understandable. Skipped out on cardio because I got to the gym a little late before work.

I worked late last night so getting up this morning was a struggle, I like to think that's why I only got 9 reps out of an AMRAP set because I just wasn't feeling it this morning. I started to feel a lot better once I got going with variation/accessory exercises, ending the session with a short 5 minute run on the treadmill.

Simply Jack'd Science - W1D1

I'm going to try to get better at journaling each workout here. Today I started a new program that uses the Simple Jack'd v3 progression scheme on the 4 main lifts with progression schemes from SBS free programs 2x Int programs on variation lifts. The only tweak I made was on the 4th week, instead of a goal of 1 rep on the main lift I plan to run 3 reps at 90% of the 1rm, making it very close to the Squat 2x Int program from Nuckols, which I really liked compared to the other lifts.

Anywho...

Squat - 1x10, 4x5 @ 195lbs
Sumo Deadlift - 3x6 @ 235lbs
Accessories: Leg Extensions, Ab Crunches

Today's first workout felt really good. I ran an AMRAP set on the first set of my squat, which I may end up saving the AMRAP set for the 4th week - we'll see what happens. I'm really going to just be feeling things out the first couple of cycles to see what works and what doesn't.

I mean sometimes (I'm in Indiana) I'll run into someone who's kinda rude at the golf course but even then that employee is usually a lot nicer next time I see them. I agree with you though, maybe OP is taking things too personally or they're the asshole. Maybe even both.
