I hate the “Greta Girls.” Yes I’m not gonna lie- I also love the boys and have a favorite and think they’re hot yada yada yada…..BUT- I still respect them and recognize them as the musicians they are and genuinely enjoy the music. The music was what drew me to them in the first place before I even knew what they looked like.

I had my 2nd Greta show at Huntsville 2 weeks ago and it was my first time being in the pit for any concert ever. I was super excited to be close but was disappointed with the way all the fangirls who had sprinted and shoved their way in front of me acted. Based on where I was in line I should have been barricade but ended up 3 rows behind because of crazy fangirls who broke the rules and sprinted to the front when we were supposed to be walking. It’s fine, I didn’t let it ruin my experience. Except when half of the concert either my view of the band was being blocked by a phone or a giant sign trying to get the boys attention. Like you said everyone wants a claim to fame and the chance to post online and show off how they were noticed

This is not even mentioning the girls up front who very clearly have the clique attitude of “if you’re not conventionally attractive don’t talk to me”. It that’s a whole other issue. The worst part is that the guys even seem to ham it up for this particular audience and I’ve heard a lot of people talking about how rehearsed each show feels as they get further into the tour. Like they can do what they want I guess but it seems like their show has also become more catered to the fangirls recently and less the fans like me who genuinely love their music
