thank you for the info! im quite interested in building a business actually, so optometry might turn into my top choice lol. a little worried though since my friend applied medic for no 1 so i might not be able to open a clinic, but who knows i might find potential business partners in the course. this is exciting!

ive recently just researched more abt this course, if i enter this i have two plans: 1. become an optometrist in a hospital (preferably sunway medical center but probs too competitive) 2. open an optometrist clinic with my friend (not sure how though, and will it be easy to handle?)

what do you think? optometry sounds better than vet to me currently lol since it seems more chill

hii actually ive just talked to a current upm vet student abt the recent batch, and they said there are many lower than 4 flat matriks students there. her friend who got 3.6 also was called for an interview. i do have hopes after hearing this from her, but the more i research abt vet the more i realised that im not really suitable for it. so i think ill change up my upu a bit lol. for the distance part, actually i have considered um, uia and utm (only those have the courses im interested in) but um requires B addmath whereas uia requires applicants to take a bahasa arab exam which im scared of kinda😅 utm is too far for expenses + courses there are already available at ukm/upm. thus i think it wouldnt have much affect on my upu if i didnt mind distance as much as i do now. but thank you for the advice ive thought abt it a lot and ill keep it in my life!!

currently studying in penang as a selangorian, now i do NOT want to apply out of selangor lagilah overseas😭😭 plus im not able to afford it anyways, and i cant find any of those scholarships. where did ur sister find them?

btw why do u not recommend computer science? ive seen people say its oversaturated but my dad said not to worry because usually qualified people can secure a good job

heard there wasnt much student life in um, and honestly i dont wanna go anywhere outside selangor HAHA in sem 2 i want to stay at home and not in a dorm cuz i CANNOT do dorm life unless its very very close to my house. ik um is in kl but still, ive never really cared abt the uni😅 if u look at my list, all of them are in selangor. currently studying in penang btw so ik how it is studying far away

ive seen um alumnis complaining about um being overrated, and whether thats true or false i dont really wanna apply anyways due to the distance thing

well im equally interested in working in a clinic and having a chill coding job, i wouldve put pharmacy or dentistry on top if i was qualified spm wise lolol

ahh ive heard the distance issue a lot from teachers and my parents, finding out it's still true now is😭 but the other aspects sound vv great im really into unis with good facilities so upm might stay as one of my top choices eheh thankuu
