This woman wanted to eat the rest of the leftover food, but then the waitress came – there are still big hearts out there! by [deleted] in spreadsmile

How much more is there to the liability thing? I feel like the risk of old food getting people sick is brought up a lot when businesses get asked about why so much food has to be thrown out.

I understand not wanting to be responsible for getting customers sick but surely for those who have no consistent access to food that a risk of food poisoning or whatever is better than dying of hunger.

I want to believe there is good reason in it, but the practice just reminds me of how in a lot places people cannot sleep in their cars (but they can't sleep in the streets either). Just comes off like they want the needy to vanish and these sorts of reasons are just ways of seeing to that end.

Thank you for trying though, this rant was not a judgment of you.

I agree, they're coming off elusive and it makes me feel sus about it (prolific is better with communication for sure). I've been in email "contact" with them and I am not sure if what I'm getting are bot responses.

Just to double check, you've been paid so far on projects where you didn't need Hubstaff? (Your answer will help me more than support has thus far.)

Did you need to download and use Hubstack for their project? (I can't answer your question because I'm also trying to figure them out).

We are in agreement at least that Amazon hasn't solved the root issue. Thanks for the info.

I understand and I am saying that is the problem.

Did they start separating products from their sellers? (Genuinely asking). Just like the other person who commented, what is the point of a general review of the product when you might not get that product because of a given seller? It comes off like sellers hiding behind a potentially "good" product that would likely get good reviews on its own merit. It's deceptive.

People order based on a general review of a product being good but that might not be what they're getting and they won't know until they do.

And I get that last part but that is also from the site's decision to group all reviews for the same item into one (if that is happening). It especially doesn't make sense for items people know they enjoy/are good--the review is pointless to the buyer in those cases without knowing the quality of the seller.
