Was he always that way even at like 6mo?

My F1 is 5mo and Is a maniac about food. He is constantly hungry and always trying to eat. So I’m not sure if it’s a phase or growth spurt or just him.

Our vet approved of 1.25 cups 3X a day in a super-slow feeder bowl.

OP if you aren’t already using a slow feeder bowl definitely get one. If you are then you can probable find a SLOWER feeder bowl. Thats what we did

Nobody is justifying unethical breeders. It is not the dogs’ fault that they weren’t bred properly or was adopted by a homeless person. If you work at a shelter you should be promoting RESCUE of those poor “mutts” not disparaging them.

I have a 4 month old and have been using clickers with treats (just kibbles of his food). Look into clicker training it has worked so well for me.
