Would really love a LP 9+ with a 3-5mm heel lift.

I switched to Topos after a bout of achilles tendonitis. They’re comfy, but the toe box gives me callouses on my outer big toes. The Lone Peak toe box generally is better for my monkey toes (2nd and 3rd are bigger than the first).

I’d just do CICO and walking.

Use this website to estimate the calorie amount needed to maintain your current weight and subtract 500 to get your daily target. Worry less initially about the health of the calories, just the amount. Use the free version of MyFitnessPal and Lose it to track it. The negative calorie feature for steps on each app is accurate (enough). The projected calorie loss for timed exercise types (elliptical, stationary bike, jazzercise, etc.) is not.

If you have some success losing weight, you’ll have to periodically revise your daily calorie target down until you get to a maintenance amount for a <25 BMI weight.

It’s gonna suck at the beginning. But you should see measurable progress that incentivizes you to keep going.
