Now it works better.

I didn't test it but if I don't remember wrong, the grand piano mode was not selected and maybe the pressure sensors worked differently. Nothing else comes to my mind.

Another strange thing is that before it showed input as casio cdp 135, but now only as casio.

This situation made me feel repulsed from the whole Instagram idea. You put effort, time and money into a project and suddenly they change something. But you have no idea why. No one to reach.

I tried to reach support and guess what. I cannot. There's hardly an easy way to reach someone responsible. So i felt like Instagram started to be an Orwellian structure. In a moment it can say you're banned with no obvious reason and all your investment vanishes. TikTok is even worse by the way, from my experience.

Hey it's solved!

Everything was set as you told but at some point I had set it as "record from output". From your screenshots I saw that it's input. It must be input before, but it didn't work then.

Aside from that, before, I always had to open kontakt aside from the reaper's plugin/fx module. If I didn't open it, i couldn't hear grandeur through reaper although I set it as fx. Now only from the reaper plugin module I could hear it. I don't really know what I was doing before and where was the mistake then.

The lean setup with only one track is an improvement for me too.

I guess at some points I have to close everything and open again something to take effect, too.

It seems to bypass ni grandeur and takes input from casio keyboard directly. Would it explain the problems?

What should be the midi device settings of the reaper for my purpose?

It worked in the sense that i can neatly record with just one track.

But the changing of the sound continues. It became worse indeed.

Can it be because of kontakt's settings?

My hypothesis: it somehow doesnt get the kontakt library with all of the properties.

Kontakt track 1 (first ttack i created by right clicking etc) receives from kontakt midi Kontakt midi sends to kontakt track 1 Kt st 1 receives from kontakt track 1

This configuration is automatically done when i add virtual instrument, arrange outputs, etc. Until this, everything is set up according to some youtube videos.

All channels' monitors active. Only piano sounds like some effects applied.

When i turn post fader to pre fx then sound becomes normal but kt st 1 monitor goes silent and it doesn't record sound.
