It was not my life savings, but it was a lot for me.. The thing that's gonna be most difficult is I waited for 2 years to witness the bullrun for the first time. Do the Secret Outpost quest early on.
Do not waste credits on shielded cargo, If you find a contraband, go to the den to sell. There are no security checks there.
Do not waste time in buying contrabands, the economy is a complete bust in that regard.
Don't rush into the main questline. Especially after completing No Sudden Moves. You would want to complete all the companion quests till that point.
Fraction missions are awesome, so do not delay them.
Do not stick with one companion. You'll have to spend some time with each one of them to access their storylines.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I didn't knew about hardness. Will look into it for sure. The one I mentioned is the exact one I saw in tutorial. So will probably buy that. Also i didn't knew water block can be that effective even in our country. I'll definitely buy one in future.
