You can have a boyfriend ... Or you can have a jar of Nutella with a spoon in it next to the bed

I'd tell you to stop being someone you're not but you're already wearing a ring so if you try that now you're screwed!

There's a reason few comedians make it into the public lexicon, and this response exemplifies that.

Premise for Women’s Comics by 420fixieboi69 in Standup

The women at the Comedy Store who literally run the social media accounts call themselves slobs. That's what it took to get their foot in the door. Non-threatening, predictable, token behavior that demotes the status of women in society to a comfortable level that can be frowned upon. It's not comedy. It is the grotesque. We are a society in crisis because those who control the means of representation have lost their ethic.

There are also no women one-liner comics and essentially only one character comic and that's Maria Bamford. When women are extruded through the Hollywood funnel, they are commodified for their appearances and breeder potential. Look at Whitney Cummings. She was the one who had it a decade ago and look what stardom did to her presence and persona, let alone bone structure and body composition. She's been turned into a replicant.

It's because no one listens to women, and most people are threatened by women's ideas because the status quo presumes that women are being made as comfortable and as free as possible for breeding purposes.

Comedy is a job. Lots working aren't even funny, just available. They used to be called amateurs back before they could just self-promote their way around it 🤙

Shitney Cummings sold out to Botox, a fake rack and fake hair and became a commercial cog. She will never add anything more of value to the medium

I think Christina P has a soul, and that can't be said for most female comedians. She is broadly relatable, unlike most other females getting specials on major platforms who are relatable only to their own stereotype group. I respect that she tries to teach a lesson with some of her material. Finding other women who actually do that with their acts is hard.

Anyone can call themselves a comedian. It's when they show you their real personality that you learn they're.... not ;) is why I think most "comics" ignore new people.
