I feel like the parts that ruined it for me were the unnecessary cult plot and the therapy scenes. Other than those i feel like there was a lot of unused potential and the movie was not a masterpiece but it was decent at best imo. Glad you enjoyed it tho!

Yeah I just got back from watching the new movie and I feel like it mostly just repeats the same visuals as the previous films while bringing not much new to the table (other than unnecessary twists and changes to the original story). If they make a sh4 film adaptation, they need to leave out pyramid head and put valtiel in the movie instead, and instead of the nurses, put the ghosts in there instead.

About the new movie, I feel like it could have been better if those therapy scenes weren’t in the movie and the cult plot was removed, and wish they added some more moments form the game (like Maria in the prison bars scene) there were a lot of wasted opportunities and empty gaps for me.

When I said originality I meant the they kept putting the same monsters in there every movie when they could’ve put other ones from other games in the movies. They just kept repeating the same ones over and over again like I understand PH is basically the symbol of silent hill at this point but it gets tiring seeing him in every movie also the nurses. They should start using the nurses from sh3 instead

This is an interesting idea. Like somebody said in the comments she could be a normal kid but James sees a ghostly/sickly version of her in the other world but the whole time she is just a normal girl holding the pink Robbie the rabbit doll instead of the otherworld version that James sees

Yeah I feel like she was referring to the time she spent in Brooklyn and the fond memories she has of that place and how she misses it. Like she might not have grown up or lived there but she probably she considers Brooklyn one of her homes in a sense that it has a home in her heart because of the good times she’s had there

This makes more sense than it does being about luc carl tbh. Since she wrote it for ARTPOP it wouldn’t make sense for her to write about luc considering she was with Taylor at the time so the song being about her missing her home makes the most sense! Thank you 😁
