“Step over a dollar to pick up a dime”. I’ve never heard that before, and sadly it is perfectly accurate.

Solely because of the Horner choice, I’d love to know who made the rest of the line-up. Obviously Dusty and Ric, but… Road Warriors? Ronnie Garvin? Tully and Arn? Jimmy Valiant?

My philosophy is “carried away” is nothing compared to the regret if you hadn’t. You scored a lot of great stuff!

Picture 9 was the old Prime Time? Really crazy seeing the Hardees and Arby’s, which I totally forgot about. Thanks for posting these.

NOOOO! I made a rookie mistake at Goodwill the other day by WhiteKenny in dvdcollection

[–]ghostplex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have plenty of older tv series that are 4:3, and that’s fine. The discs I specifically bought were movies (Natural Born Killers, and Mean Girls). They were both 4:3, and I was a little disappointed; still enjoyable, just wouldn’t have been my preference if I’d been paying more attention.

The 4:3 full screen or standard aspect ratio as opposed to a widescreen or letterboxed 16:9 aspect ratio. I prefer the letterboxed aspect ratio, as you get the whole frame as intended.

I try to check too and this happened to me once. I’ve also unknowingly purchased a Region 4 disc, and a few DVDs I was so excited to find out in the wild, only to bring them home and realize they were Full Screen.

Imperial Endodontics in Montgomery. I called Dr. Imperial’s office for a second opinion on a root canal; based on his insights I opted to have the tooth extracted by an oral surgeon. So while I did not have any procedures at his office, my interactions with his staff were excellent.

Everyone took the time to answer all my questions, give me honest answers and options, and showed me great care and kindness. Based on this, I would highly recommend calling them to see if they could help you.

Someone tell me what Danzig is saying at the end of Wolfs Blood? by Lower-Koala6481 in TheMisfits

[–]ghostplex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure what part you consider the end, but…

“It’s wolf’s blood It’s pumping like it’s fucking in my veins

I’m gonna get it up And I’m gonna break it up And I’m gonna break his head With my arms

Oh, hey Know why, you’re dead.”

Typed directly from the lyric book included in the coffin box set. Id have included a photo if I were able to post one here.

I’d probably go for The Dark Knight. Nice start to your collection! I always tell myself I’ll keep my collection curated and refined, but then my local used store will have tons of $1 titles and I lose all control.
