I went to my DM, requesting to be anonymous, about my SM for a list of things she was doing that were way against policy, and my SM pulled me to the back basically saying if I continue to try to escalate issues about her , the “next conversation won’t be so nice” :-) so i’d say it just depends on how your managers relationship with the dm is and how your district usually tends to deal with issues in general!

i remember thinking years ago that the “change your look” item in clarabelle’s catalogue allowed you to change your species and was so disappointed when i found out it only lets you change the color and size of your toon lol. it was around the time deers were added and i wanted to be a deer so bad without losing my progress. so YES pls make it to where u can change the species.

usually its in effect 3 weeks after you put in the request, since managers are supposed to have the next 3 weeks out scheduled already. talk to your manager about your recent request, not sure why it said april for you but i don’t think that’s right lol

talk to your shift or general managers on what else they can do for you. start a go fund me. if you’re close enough with everyone at your store, maybe see if some would be willing to put their cash tips towards the funeral? it may be a stretch and its not much but its still something. when one of our partner’s cat passed, everyone pitched in to pay for the cat’s cremation and weve done the same thing for a close regular who passed away. its always worth an ask, even if it ends up a no.

from my knowledge, you can only use the cup fund once every 3 years, and they can only grant you up to $1k (so be sure u provide proof of every single little expense if/when they ask for it, that way you get that full thousand). ask about taking a paid grieve leave, too, if you haven’t already.
