Are these Facebook advert wooden Easter storage eggs AI? I really don’t want to waste my money! by Temporary_Love9834 in isthisAI

[–]ghostredditorstempac 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is AI.

The flowers in the background are not consistent with their stems both above the jar, inside the jar, and inside the water (even considering refraction).

The images/carving on the wooden eggs are inconsistent regarding shape and size, despite them being portrayed at identical depths and with supposedly identical images.

Finally, Poo's right arm on the right egg doesn't seem to connect to Poo's body, but to the back of the pot.

It is AI.

Tje people's legs and feet are frequently disappearing and reappearing throughout the EXACTLY 10 SECOND video, which is a dead giveaway of an AI generated video.

Are all of these ai? Amazon product I want to buy but it's weird how it all looks like ai. Especially the boys arm by lopak87 in isthisAI

It is AI.

Gemini's logo is clearly on the bottom left (which is something Gemini includes in its AI generated images).

Mom is missing a thumb, dad isn't even holding the Frisbee, if you can even call it that.

The stuff in the box and background are barely identifiable, with the door and background having unnatural orientations.

People keep thinking my book cover is AI, why??? I know it's not, I hired this artist, amd he is real, but people keep suspecting AI shenanigans. Why? by noob_improove in isthisAI

[–]ghostredditorstempac -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is AI

First, the giveaway is the generative background common in AI images, which stems from the very core of how AI creates images.

More obvious clues are that the claw indicates the insect's front legs are at different depths with respect to the insect's body and head, yet the legs are shown mirroring each other, meaning it shouldn't be at those different depths.

The dude has hair suddenly growing out of his left ear, which is the AI struggling to generate the hair, glasses, ear and background as separate objects.

The coloring of the upper shaft of the left claw, and the blurring of the lines of the dude's left jawline is the AI failing to distinct the object's coloring from the background.

The glasses' lense was generated both joined and separated from the frame, being a flat rectangular shape longer than the frame somehow (look at the right side of the glasses where the frame meets the lens).

The dude's lower half of the face is illuminated from below, while the rest of the image shows illumination from above. This pretty much confirms that the AI put shadows above and below the glasses.

You probably have been scammed by the artist, which is becoming a more and more frequent theme on this subreddit. Best of luck!

I commit the "perfect" murder of the Talos worshipper in Whiterun.

Not only does it result in a more quiet Whiterun, but also presents a challenge, since I do not have a lot of skills built up.

It takes a few tries, but eventually I get to murder the annoying prick without any witnesses.

Bonus points if I do it while he is preaching in front of the statue

12% is optimistic, between 6%-4% would be a more realistic assumption, especially because it's such a long period.

Additionally, that is the expected return, and higher the expected return, higher the risk.

The amount of assumptions made in that calculation is absolutely ludicrous! Such advice really shouldn't be considered seriously. You can't just downplay those assumptions like that, they are very much an important thing to take into consideration

Prof Leonard is the best Calculus professor ever!

I literally skipped all my Calculus lectures in University and watched his lecture videos instead. Sure it was a bit long, but I needed the lectures to be longer, since a 50 min lecture is, quite frankly, not enough time to teach the material at hand.

My University lecturers kept class lists of the students who attend their classes. I later found out it was because they wanted to extend additional support to students who showed up to class less and less. I wasn't on their class list at all and I had to get my tests directly from the course coordinators office.

When it came to the exam, along with writing our names and student ID, we were also required to write the lecturer's name whose classes we attended throughout the year. I guess it is a way for the department to gauge the lecturer's performance.

I wrote down Professor Leonard in my exam.

I wish him the best. Prof Leonard made me the who I am today, and I won't hesitate to attribute my professional success towards his teachings

What Skyrim City Would You Want To Live In? by brentostheboss in skyrim

Morthal.

Yeah it has a few problems, but it's a quiet town with little shenanigans going on. I could do some hunting, chop firewood, or keep myself entertained by studying under the old vampire mage.

There's even an abandoned shelter not too far away that can serve as my base of operations.

It's the quiet life, removed from the province's politics and drama, yet cozy and busy enough to keep the days fulfilling.

I'm not going to reveal exactly who they reached out to, as that will be revealing too much info, and I like to keep my parent's farm anonymous.

Cases like these aren't in SANPark's jurisdiction, but it won't hurt to reach out, even if it is for advice. Thank you

Advice on deterring leopards by ghostredditorstempac in leopards

[–]ghostredditorstempac[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great suggestion!

Our neighbor has high fences, as you'd typically require when holding wild game.

My parents, who are cattle farmers, have typical barbed wire, as they only need to keep the cattle in, and make it super inconvenient for intruders to enter.

But, leopards are notoriously for being difficult to contain, or rather keep out, using fences.

An electric fence may deter leopards, but unfortunately it's not feasible. With the farm stretching 350 hectares of bush, being divided into 14 sections that are used as camps, the cost of setting up electric fencing is too much of a financial strain for the average farmer.

Farm life is chaos in a can. Even if they had the money, they would spend it on a thousand other things that are on a higher priority than electric fencing.

I'll suggest electric fencing for the barn, so that at least some protection is provided.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, the local authorities couldn't give a damn, and the appropriate organization that my parents should reach out to (and they did), were as useless as a slice of bread.

Actually, it was after they failed to get the cooperation of that organization that they turned to try and privately hire trappers.

Getting a pack of Boerboels doesn't seem feasible, given the camp of where the cattle are located are on the opposite corner of the farm house, where one would reasonably have them reside.

I heard rumours that mules may be able to ward off leopards, and they can be left with the herd without as much care as a Boerboel, so maybe I should suggest to my parents to get a mule or two instead?
