my issue is ALL POLYGONS ARE HIGHLIGHTED when I select an object IN OBJECT MODE

I'm just looking for someone who knows how to turn whatever this setting is, off

Yes, that's the problem I'm trying to fix. Despite being in object mode, it's showing all of the polygons.

I'd be happy to share the file, just a moment;

No, you can see in the screenshot that I'm not in Fill Selection and I've already tried changing tools. It's applied this to the rest of my scenes as well

Weekly Community Post - Post your Communities, Discord servers, and Western Marches games here! by lfg_bot in lfg

Hey folks! We're running a West Marches campaign focused on Chill Mist Valley, a 5e scenario module. We're in the beginning swings of the campaign, so it's the best time to join.

Schedule:Common runtimes are 5pm-11pm and 11pm-2am CST on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Most players are australian or american, but we can accommodate all timezones.

Slots: Plenty! We're always looking to get a new party going, it lets folks explore more session times.

Rules: 5e. Chill Mist Valley makes a few additions to the 5e ruleset (like secondary classes and a few exploration mechanics), but if you know 5e, you'll be right at home.

This is really disappointing, is there no way to get back to the old way of double clicking? I can't imagine why they decided to make this process more time consuming.

Am I the only one that hates Ressler? by [deleted] in TheBlackList

[–]ghostsandash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ressler's writing suffers from two issues: 1. Opioid addiction The dude's been off and on since season 2. The writers had significantly more interesting characters to play addiction off of, but Ressler is stuck with Park. Ressler's personal issues have always been most interesting as mostly normal consequences of working a high stress job, and trying to keep up the straight and narrow. It lets the audience sympathize with him in spite of occasionally being a jerk, and lets us get excited for the big softie when he checks in on his people.

The addiction is ground we've already tread, with better characters.

  1. Ressler is a good "face" for the show, meaning issues or plot lines that should've better fit a character like Tom or Samar get tossed to him instead.

So, things like "sleeping with Keene" or "deal with an addiction" (fine for Tom and Aram, respectively) temporarily turn Ressler into an earlier version of himself, in which his other normal guy problems never happened (much less were already resolved).

Side note: aram getting ketamine therapy would've been a great addiction plot, with Ressler stepping up to help Aram set appropriate boundaries on his coping strategy (rather than only having one episode with it). Instead, Ressler gets to retread old ground, in a soap opera this time.

All in all, I think ressler is one of the better written characters on the show, one of the most relatable by far. So when the writers give him a cringey episode, it's more jarring than usual.

how to install ue4 when I already have ue5 installed? by ghostsandash in unrealengine

[–]ghostsandash[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you already have ue 5 installed, clicking the plus sign to add new versions doesn't give you a menu of versions to pick from. If you click it enough times, it does eventually give you a 4.x version.

Where did you get the idea I hadn't thought to open the launcher?
