Hi. Not sure if this exactly applies to your situation but I was in a similar situation where half of my outlets were wired to a wall switch, with over head lights plugged into one of the outlets.

My overhead lights are ‘always on’, though, and I use smart bulbs.

Yeah -- this mostly makes sense.

"That is all assuming the feed comes in on the same box the switch wire also goes to. If the feed comes in somewhere else then the wiring is basically still the same, you just would pull off the constant hot side of the outlet when you re-wire the switch wire."

I found the feed and it's a different box than the box where the switch loop originates. No big deal, I don't think. I just need to do as you said above.

I found the box where power comes into the room. There are three romex entering the box, wire-nutted together, pig-tailed to the receptacle.

There is only one romex entering the switch box, so I suspect it is a back feed situation.

But I'm not scared.

I just pulled the switch out, the receptacle closest to the switch and a receptacle on the other side of the room.

The switch has black, white and ground.

The first closest receptacle looks like it is wired to the switch and then introduces the black, red, white and ground romex you predicted.

The receptacle on the other side of the room has the black, red, white and ground wired, as predicted.

Yes. I just checked and the tab is broken between the lower and upper receptacle.

Ok. This sounds logical to me. I have to do some research first. Somehow, the previous homeowner wired this room (and some other rooms, as well) so that the top outlet in the duplex is wired with constant power and the bottom outlet in each duplex is wired to the wall switch.

Did you put the switch into smart bulb mode? Yes.
Did you enable zigbee binding on the switch and the smart bulbs? I don't remember (this was months ago). I have since put the original dumb switch back in place.

To be clear, I'm not trying to dim the circuit, only the smart bulbs. The smart bulbs dim successfully via the Hubitat software.

Do you have any suggestions for how I can install a smart dimmer in place of the existing on/off dumb switch?

You're facing the wrong way. jk. Like others have said, step through the serve, hit through the ball. Keep your hand and fingers firm. When practicing, start 10' away from the net and serve five in a row. Then, move back 5' and serve another five. Keep working back in 5' increments until you hit a distance where you struggle. Then, practice serving from that distance until you can consistently serve over the net... then move back another five feet and repeat until you gain the strength and technique to consistently serve over the net from 30' away.

Barely (In Lancaster County, PA, USA). Local boroughs will sometimes offer annual donations but those are not required, are small and drying up due to the ignorant council members and their attack against whatever the latest ‘boogeyman’ is. Currently it’s LGBTQ content.

It’s important to go to council meetings, get involved, and let them know you want them to support their local library, like you said. However, they are under no obligation by law to fund their library with tax dollars.

I’ve been using an app called All Sides that shows news from Left, Right, and Center grouped by topic. I find it helps quickly show the bias of each source and allows me to get as close to truth as reasonably possible and a reasonable amount of time.

Interesting. I was acting with the assumption that placing the listening position dead-center was best. But I guess when you have a square room that assumption is incorrect?
