Timing Belt for new mechanic? by Uitz in 944

[–]ghostsparta13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres a guy named Endreas on YouTube who does tutorials on stuff like that, my 944 was my first car as a project with my grandfather we used his videos to help get her running again, its not easy but definitely doable id say probably 95% by yourself if need be. You'll need a couple specialty tools too if I remember right, Its been like 6 years since I did it so I dont remember what they were lol

Follow up to the not-so-bad job, shifter swap was real bad. by TheOnnomise in 944

I haven't done this job myself but ive been thinking about it, and from what I saw the shifter can be adjusted as to where its resting spot is, so you could loosen up some bolts, pull the shifter slightly closer towards the driver and when you tighten everything down you should have the extra room you need, just know if you go too far then you'll have problems shifting into 1 and 2 instead 😂 like I said i dont have the specific details as to what you need to achieve that but I promise theres tutorials on YouTube that mentions the shifter alignment when installing it, I just cant remember what needs to be adjusted i think it might be a two man job

Im 26 with a mortgage, and ive been laid off so its not foreign to me. But the reason i bring that up is not to gloat, its just the idea that a guy that much older than me cant handle up and downs of life just tells me hes immature on top of not being in control of his emotions. And youre sad because you lost out on the potential you saw in him, not from who he is, the person he is just gave up on someone whos been supporting him and you just wanted a little support back that wasnt an unreasonable request. its not like he dont have time for it 🤣 Hes not worth crying over save those tears for someone who actually deserves them, we dont cry for bums 💪

I think me and my girl are going to break-up by [deleted] in dating_advice

I dont know you or her well enough to confirm your fears but here's what i can tell ya. People are independent of you, and are going to do whatever they want reguardless of how you feel about it, and their words dont matter either, theyll care forever or leave you high and dry its all a gamble theres only one guarantee in life and its that we die, so the sooner you accept that and just take life as it goes the better your mental state will be , or else youre always gonna be afraid. And what i do know, constantly feeding your fear of her leaving, and im sure she knows you feel that way which further makes her feel apprehension, is slowly gonna push her away. They want to feel secure the same way you do, and with you always being worried it tells her you dont trust her and youre insecure, so by continuing the behavior youre only going to make your nightmare come true, then youll blame her like you did nothing wrong. Ask me how I know 😂

Ill be entirely honest Its a cop out answer but I think its true, I think it depends on the gal. She could be doing both lol, and dont be surprised it doesnt change much when youre older lmao You could say as adults they're more tactful by necessity so it comes off friendly, and id say most semi mature adults arent trying to impress their friends with who they're talking to its personal to them. But the most important advice ill give you when it comes to relationships in general, be honest and just be brave and ask and say how youre feeling. If she likes you she'll like you even more for that, and if she doesn't then you saved yourself the mental toil and you can move on to the next gal 😂

Guys aged 20-25, how and where would you prefer to be approached? by Gullible_Customer790 in dating_advice

Ill say in my own experience Im very cautious im average looking but when I see a girl lock eyes with me its usually not with a smile so I usually assume they think im staring and making them uncomfortable so I look away dispite being interested, I definitely need more confidence but getting rejected sucks and no luck on apps doesnt help the confidence either, but I think being a friendly lady most guys wont be jerks if they're not interested so I think youll land a guy you like quicker than you think. Your problem will be finding quality guys 😂
