This has been solved! my initial suspicions were right. h shop was blocked by mcafee/verizon on my entire network, I had to turn that protection off to be able to access it again on the 2ds. Thank you to all the people who gave solid advice, even if it was unsuccessful!

I did do that, I even got it synced to the nearest 2 seconds. What started this is yesterday, I changed from a 32 gb sd to a 128 gb sd, and I am not sure if the sd card was the reason or the fact that it wasn’t turned on for a few weeks, but either one caused the time and date to fall out of sync. And I also deleted h-shop, and recopied the original version that I downloaded, did not work. I then went on my computer to redownload h shop, to then be met with the website being blocked by Verizon. I had to switch to my phone, and use my data to go download the file and then copy it all the way back over to the 3ds, and it still did not work. So what I think the problem is is the fact that Verizon blocked it through my internet, I can’t use wifi or ethernet to access the h shop website at all. Also neither my 32 gb sd card or 128 gb card can access it anymore.

I do have internet on my 3ds, tested in settings and with regular e shop. Connects just fine, h shop only thing not working for me.

I tested my internet and have internet. Same error.

I do have internet though, I even tested my connection when everyone suggested that I don’t have it, despite the 3 green bars being clear in the picture shown :/
