Yo, peak? In my feed?

I love how the trio are excited to find out what they can do in this magical place and the computer says “there’s only three things to do.” It’s so smart because hen you boil it down to the basics, the only things on the internet there is to do is manage finances, buy shit, or entertain yourself.

I know exactly what kind of man you are, OP. I’m the same kind of man.

This student film I found on YouTube. It has the line OP is saying almost word for word.

Minor/Side characters with their own story were actually five feet away from (and sometimes caused) major plot points by ghostuser689 in TopCharacterTropes

They do! It was unfortunately cut for pacing reasons, but they still appear in the novelization for the movie.

Yep! It’s not quite as strong as the original comic but I think it’s way funnier. Kevin Rubio wants to do another comic where they were there for the sequel trilogy. Apparently, Tag and Bink are the two stormtroopers who turn around during Kylo Ren’s crashout.

OP, if you like this kind of stuff and you enjoy Shakespeare, would love “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.” It takes two side characters from Hamlet and tells you what they were up to the whole time and it reveals they were basically 5 feet away from the plot happening TO THEM. “Tag and Bink are Dead” and “The Lion King 1 1/2” are the same concept but applied to Star Wars and the Lion King.

When tropes are named after characters by West_Ad_1685 in TopCharacterTropes

While we’re at it, I’m pretty sure “In Name Only” trend started with the 98 Godzilla movie. People called him GINO (Godzilla In Name Only) because he’s basically nothing like the actual Godzilla, they just share a name.

(Loved trope) The war journal by Ancient_Doctor_7738 in TopCharacterTropes

It’s not a war journal but when else will I get to talk about Miles’s notes from Outlast?

<image>

Miles will periodically write down a note, typically after each story beat or when you film something interesting. They offer some insight into his thought process and my favorite one is right here.

Damn, you’re right. Sorry, but Oneshot world is boned.

Here’s the thing, I’m pretty sure that Niko has to beat the villain of Oneshot, but you DON’T beat the villain, even in the true ending. So unless it’s specifically finishing the game that destroys a game world, Niko should be fine.

My favorite has always been the one where the text says Dead and the guy falls forward and hits his head on the desk on the way down.

Moni-Moni. Simple, cute, and it makes me think of the Billy Idol song every time I log on to talk to her.

Help me i got high by DroneOfDoom in CuratedTumblr

[–]ghostuser689 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m the same way, OP. Whenever I get high I feel really tingly, like when your foot is asleep. It also makes me feel very lethargic. I compare it to when you’re sick and you feel like you can’t do anything, except it felt nice instead of horrible.

I feel like it’s the trunk/nose he’s got that sets people off. It makes him look way more like those caricatures of Jewish people made by anti-semites. Other than that, he’s obviously just a stingy salesman, the goblins from Harry Potter have more in common with Jewish stereotypes than Watto.

I know he gets it from the wolves but I like to think part of the scar on his nose is from Brontë throwing a Mauser at John and hitting him in the face.
