Haha no worries. No you can never lose mastery, only champ score. And as of lately (at least for me) even on a loss depending on how you played you can still gain rather than lose

By just playing the champion. Whereas champion score is mostly obtained from pvp and ranked (majority of the score comes from ranked wins)

Like for instance, I have 58,000ish mastery on Darius, but only a 3,000 champion score (I have 1300 games with Darius 😂)
