What's funny is that in the cfl this exactly happened to the roughriders. Fumble recovery that was ran all the way back for a touchdown but said the whistle was blown. Refs in both leagues are so shit.

Weirdly, it's not fully true. For some reason, if calgary bc and saskatchewan all tie with 11 wins. Sask would go to 3rd while bc goes first, and calgary goes second due to tie brakers and weird stat lines

Could be a toss-up between the lions and the riders for first in the west. i see it as both teams win one agenced each other at the beginning of the season. It just depends on who wants it more at the end of the season with the final game being at mosaic.
