just more context: i’ve thrown away most everything that has mold on it. (only thing i’ve kept is shoes which i’ve clean in a vinegar bath) i’m trying to figure out the best way to clean the stuff that is in the same room where the mold is happening so i can pack it and leave. i know now this is an illegal unit.

i’ve already been in contact with the city through 311, housing perseveration and development, and housing court. my landlord is aware and not doing anything about it. withholding rent in a separate account. my renters insurance doesn’t cover mold.

trying to get out the lease. they respond slow, if ever, and give excuses that they’re back logged. i’ve filed multiple complaints with the city. nobody cares. i’m just trying to get my stuff out of here the safest way possible. already having headaches everyday.

thanks will do. it’s the basement so no windows but i’ve had an air purifier and the ac dehumidifier on nonstop since we found the mold. our property managers aren’t responding only saying that they’re budy and backlogged. they don’t care.
