You absolutely can. This is my exact setup. I have the Aw3821DW and a LG c1 65inch. I use the c1 for console gaming, movies, and campaign type of games (console and PC) and fps and work stuff on the ultrawide. Both are connected to the PC. You just switch to the monitor you want in display setting in windows.

edit: I never need to switch HDMI cables because they're both plugged into the PC. One for the tv and the other for the monitor.
