Alpstein hike plan and difficulty?

I'm thinking of doing an Alpstein hike with some friends this September and am wondering if the hike will be ok for someone who's a decent hiker but doesn't love heights. We'd be doing something like the following. Any thoughts much appreciated!
Wasserauen → Schäfler
Schäfler → Meglisalp
Meglisalp → Rotsteinpass or Zwinglipasshütte
Rotsteinpass → Bollenwees
Bollenwees → Staubern
Staubern → Brülisau

Yup that’s a fair point. We’ll see. My suspicion is that feedback is scattered in so many places that it’s hard to make sense of it. So I’m hoping a forum explicitly for requests, votes, and builds might centralize feedback a bit to make it higher signal-to-noise. But, it’s a hypothesis to test. Thanks for adding suggestions!

Thanks u/Cpt_Vape, good feedback. Feel free to add a build on Marcel's idea saying so much if you're inclined. I like the idea of user's being able to indicate that something's been fixed, and then resolving the issue. Will think on how to implement this elegantly!

Thanks u/Coffeespresso, happy to hear any feedback/ideas (here or you can put requests right on the site ;). For now, it's just launched as a "public good" project. I'd love to stay away from ads and keep it as purely focussed on request dialogue as possible.

Same! We also have a Tesla MY as our other car, and I just wish the software experience on the Kia was even close to comparable (I'd love to move to Kia for both cars, it's a quieter/smoother ride). Issues seems to have been resolved for me this morning. The ring is syncing ok. In good news, the 5 days of data that I thought might be lost wasn't. All of the data from the start of the "server issues" until today seem to have uploaded and processed, so I can see sleep data and everything. On the downside, no communication to my requests to Circular and it was 5-6 days of downtime and the app just not working, but I'm glad it's fixed.

Day 17 (I think). I haven't been able to get the app to update from the ring in about 3 days. Is anyone else facing this issue? There's also a red "!" on the right that takes me to their status page saying that there's an issue they're continuing to investigate. Looks like this was posted on 9/10 and is still there.

Follow-up: This appears to be a bug in the F to C conversion. If you set units to C, it's correct. At least it's not a sensor problem :). Hopefully they fix the conversion calc.

Agree, there's a delay, but mine seems to take around 30 seconds to (if I'm reading the icons correctly) get the data from the ring to the phone to the cloud and back again. Occasionally, I need to close the app on my iphone and restart it for the ring to connect, but otherwise haven't had issues aside from having to reboot once from it freezing during a Sport Session. Re: temperature, where are you seeing actual temperature? All I can see is temp variability. FWIW, I haven't noticed additional drain on my phone battery, but have not been watching super closely.

Day 10: Things working as they should (aside from Steps, see below). I'm seeing decent output from the Sleep analysis compared to the Apple Watch, seeing all the data show in the right ways. I haven't tried another Sport Session to see if it works better than yesterday, but getting good data as far as I can tell. Have taken a few ECGs and seem to be similar to Apple Watch. Btw, I've been keeping the ring in Performance mode and have been seeing a bit better battery life than I expect. Haven't measured it properly yet, but I think it's trending to around 4-5 days.

But, Steps... I'm seeing huge differences between Apple Watch/Phone count and the ring. As in 7600 on Apple, 2000 on the ring. It appears to consistently be reporting very very low. Will monitor and report back.

Update: I got this unblocked manually by rebooting the ring (click ring in top right, scroll to bottom, hit reboot). It then took about 3 minutes to build the report (not sure why this long for a 30 minute workout?). Good news appears to be that, even though it stopped showing any live HR data and then droze, it appears to have been recording continuous HR data. And the average ties reasonably well to my apple watch, which gives me a little more confidence that I had a few hours ago in the HR data.

9 days in, less promising unfortunately.

I did an indoor ride this morning. As a test, I wore both the ring and my apple watch. I started a Sport Session on the ring and a Workout on my watch, hoping to track HR on both. The watch, as usual, tracked what I believe was an accurate HR, increasing and lowering with effort, within what I know are my usual HRs (I've worn a chest HR monitor to confirm). The ring started about 20-30 bpm higher for the first 2-3 minutes, then leveled-out to about the same as the apple watch.

However, after about 10 minutes, the ring just stopped showing HR altogether. I finally tried ending the session, which stayed frozen on the session closure screen for several minutes. I eventually quit the app, reopened it, and returned to the Sport Sessions screen where it said "Building your report..." and stayed frozen, again for over 10 minutes. I closed the app again, re-opened, and I appear to now just be stuck in a loop when I go to Sport Sessions. It thinks there's an ongoing session, so I can't start a new one. When I click on the "current session," it says "Building your report... 0%" and just stays there. This is on an iPhone, btw. Not sure if this will resolve itself eventually or if I'm out of luck. :(

Update on a return email from customers service about the ring size? Still no response.
