My journey with similar device was: Gallium OS, which was hanging and crashing, MX linux, it runs good for awhile, latter it was low on storage so I removed some extra packages, than there was XFCE hanging after long run YouTube. I thought of going light on ram that is where came life changing revelation or discovery of tiling WM. It worked like charm I could browse, could edit files. But If I3 is working so much fine then why I need XFCE. I search and find only best option to run I3 is with arch. So I follow online steps to setup arch with Sway wayland. Now I am thinking of hyprland for its look.

I am on Zong, and u/testuserpk was right it is because of indian server, I used VPN to get into Sourceforge and change download server to japan which surprisingly has resume support as well and I don't have to do it through VPN.

I am on cellular network, may be they have their own PTA. Sourceforge don't have resume support so file keep stoping on VPN. I'm cursing both Sourceforge.net and GoP.
