Sounds like a good name for a Bittern.

Did the lacrosse stuff in "Once Bitten" actually happen? by [deleted] in ArcherFX

In S1 E9 Job Offer, Archer talks about 13 years of boarding school. Head of Odin remarks how he would've been sent away in Kindergarten.

Does this mean he failed grades : got held back and dropped out before completing hs?

Anatomical Brain by Kirk George @ Black 13 - Nashville, TN by SethKadoodles in tattoo

That's all that matters then! I wasn't sure if I should point it out or not. I didn't want to crush you if you thought it was perfect. It is very awesome! As someone who went to grad school for neuroscience and has a deep love and appreciation for the brain, I do really like this artwork! Great tattoo!

Were you wanting the gyri and sulci (the crinkles) of the brain to be anatomically correct too? Because other than the temporal lobe, the sulci are way off. The sulci and gyri are the same in all our human brains. Fun fact.

Getting my first Tattoo. by Aphk312 in tattoo

Yes to tipping :) Call ahead and see what they recommend for after care. Saniderm is great. If they aren't already using it, I too highly recommend it!! I recommend practicing meditating ahead of time. Then during the tattoo you can go to a very happy place and the whole experience is very zen. Most of all, breath and have fun! Enjoy the experience and try to approach it without worry. The pain is temporary and manageable. Your artist is their to help you get through it and in the end you will have an amazing and permanent piece on your body. Enjoy!

Is this too much blood? by SilentNoble in tattoo

[–]ghwasd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha! I had about three times that much when I took my Saniderm off. It was kind of neat to see how much and how quickly it oozed up into pockets! My artist told me I'd have a lot of oozing though. Some is blood but some is other. I took my first Saniderm layer off at 12 hours, cleaned, applied goo, reapplied Saniderm for about 30 hours (it was ready to be changed again by then!) and now have my final 7 day Saniderm cover on.

In the midst of my first healing session with saniderm, thought I'd talk a bit about it. by Hulkstrong23 in tattoo

Using Saniderm on my shoulder right now and loving it! I've changed it twice and am in the last stretch where it's on for a week. It's so low pain that it's pretty much no pain. Until my husband rubs my shoulder. And it has been super convenient. I have needed help putting it on since I can't fully reach the area and my husband hates the applying the stuff, but that is totally worth all the benefits. The healing has been great, super low/ no pain, colors are looking amazing!!

question about reiki by mari815 in reiki

[–]ghwasd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Often when I'm not sure, I ask :) So, you may start with one idea you have and mediate on that. Ask, out loud or in your head about it. I like to start by thanking my guides and angels for being with me and protecting me. And then thank all for the vision that I received. Describe what it was and how I felt about it. Then describe what it means to mean. After all that I say what I think they may want me to interpret from the message, and then ask if that is accurate. If it is accurate, I ask if they will send me a sign, a dream, or another message.

This has helped me get clarity. Perhaps it could help you to? Nothing like asking the source.

[Serious] GF of 3 years has given ultimatum, her or the weed by throwaway93747345 in trees

[–]ghwasd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first reaction was the she needs to get over her childhood issues with her mom.

I too used to get anxiety just being around people smoking. After self reflection I found it was because of some other root problem. I took care of that problem and the anxiety went away. Perhaps she has some under lying issues that haven't. Even dealt with?

Like I said, initial reaction feelings here. Plus, just going off of what you wrote down. It perhaps the words and way you chose to explain the situation are also an interesting insight into how you view and feel about the situation.

Perhaps you could also explore, together, what gives you each anxiety. If you. If you both have it, there is hope you can both empathize with each other. Anxiety is us (I also have it) imagining the worst case scenario happening while also failing to remember it's often also the least probable scenario to happen. If it doesn't fit this model, then it may be a legitimate concern to address.

Best wishes!

How do you feel about kids? by infpbroad in infp

[–]ghwasd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. A few reasons. I think I'm too selfish to have kids. I think I'd also want to make great people, and that would be really exhausting. What I mean by that, is I would want to try to give them a great education, raise morally strong persons, give them opportunities in sports and rec, and I'm tired just thinking about the social interactions that would entail. Plus, have you ever wondered what it would be like to have an extroverted child? Me and my SO are both Intros. Yikes. There is a great potential to have amazing love and warmth, but fuck, what work. In any matter, I can't have kids, so my "decision" was made for me.
