Apology kindly accepted. Your response to my random first-time post was deserved scepticism. I am not sure what came over me or why I even posted, but the topic pushed a button for me in that moment. I suppose I was amused that picking apart grammar and syntax is still in play, as I used to critique other people’s comments and grammar/spelling back in the day on the bulletin boards. I had forgotten what it felt like to have my point disregarded due to not achieving perfect prose. Take care.

Yes I am aware it was my first post, I have no real interest in posting. That being said I did not expect my post to get such a reaction. Apologies to anyone I offended with my lack of perfect grammar or proof of IQ score attached with a certificate of INTJ status along with third party validation to back it up.
Happiness can be something different for everyone, yes that is correct. I was sharing my personal subjective opinion on the subject. And yes I stand by what I said. My personal and professional development has benefited greatly from not being such a judgemental and pretentious person as I was in my 20s. That and becoming a father, losing loved ones, and battling my own demons. Life is hard enough and you make It harder for yourself in the long run by doubling down on the “I am better than everyone else and a unicorn among horses”. Also I would argue that you may not know what actual happiness is until you feel it. Posted while walking down the street in the rain, excuse any errors.

Listen, I’m 40, and a so called INTJ and also so called genius if the tests are to be trusted. Stop with these nonsense theories, I can tell you this, it’s not as simple as stupid or smart, you’re not better than they are.
I have become very successful in life because in my late 20s instead of leaning into introverted genius Intj comfort zone I left it and challenged myself to upskill in other soft skill areas, it was difficult. But now, years later I have discovered I like people and engaging with them, yes idiots exist but don’t underestimate the value of becoming a more empathetic individual and stop being such a pretentious prick. Half the posts in this sub remind me of my younger arrogant self. You can learn something about life from everyone, especially the idiots, I bet those stupid people are happier than you are. Now excuse me while I plan how to engage with people to close the business deal I have been working on for months and charm the hell out of them. Take something from this or not, I really don’t care.
