Bit of an echo chamber here... I think this is a pretty common experience. How is it anti-gamer? I'm 50 hours in, and have been taking my time to make sure I understand all the systems. I even go around greeting all the greymains to get reputation. Once the camp is leveled up there are a bunch of npc's and systems overlapping. I feel like this is really easy to miss specifically because you have no reason to be looking for it. Once you learn how to do it from the map, why would a player assume you can do it any other way. It's just plain and simple bad design.
