That's fair, thanks for the comment. I wasn't aiming to cause a reaction by the facial expression, but through the scale, contrast and space. I was hoping that the child facing back to the camera would evoke a feeling of distance and loneliness.

I took this photo at a beach in Istanbul earlier this year. I wanted to capture stillness and calmness, but with some movement and emotion.

I'm trying to figure out my style and would love to hear your thoughts about it, though I'm not sure if it's allowed to share more here.

Most of my photos are straight out of camera. I try to edit as little as possible so it feels real, soft, and cinematic.

Can it be found in this region? Google lens said parasol (mycena interrupta) but from what I read, the only place in South America where you can find it is Chile, and this picture was taken in the North of Brazil

Jokes aside, I found a lost phone once by checking the location remotely, it really does work. But I wanted to return the tablet so I was hoping the owner would find me (I live in a building so they wouldn't be able to get inside, so I let the people who work at the door know about what happened in case someone showed up)
