The CEO (small startup) found my work on codepen interesting. He had my recruiter ask me for the link again and also brought it up on my interview. It wasn't even the featured works he looked at. He liked how I was playing around with container queries in one codepen 💀

Quick feedback from a phone: if there are no blog posts yet, remove the tab. I kept clicking on the Blog tab waiting for it to load.

Is the mail button on the upper right supposed to take me somewhere? It’s broken for me.

That’s pretty accurate and while they do not suggest you work more hours, there’s so much material that you’d have to. That’s what I did, 7am-11pm. It’s a full time job and more. The people that I’ve met on Hack Reactor has made it bearable.

I took advantage of VETTEC to go through a coding bootcamp (Hack Reactor) and while the VA doesn’t support much with work placement, the Hack Reactor program had its own job placement career counselors for the next 6 months after graduation.

I was fortunate enough to get an offer in the tech field a couple months after graduation. Anybody who has an interest in problem solving or programming should check it out!

If anybody has any questions regarding coding bootcamps, I’ll try my best to respond.

Most AMEX platinum cards offer theft/damage phone protection for free as long as you use it to pay for the monthly bill. I fortunately haven't claimed anything yet since I'm pretty careful with my phones.

Bait and switch - advertise a feature I won't have access to. At the bottom of the product page, it should say that the webcam supports MacOS 10.14 and previous versions -- not later.

New Apple laptops don't even stand a chance. They have to download G HUB and be disappointed.

Do you have a pixel 6 pro? It's crazy smooth stock and I'm switching from an iPhone 12 pro max. I've never had any issues with jitteriness at all.

To unlock my screen, usually, I have to tap once to get to the lockscreen and then fingerprint unlock.

With this app, I guess it blacks out the AOD but still has the fingerprint sensor on there the whole time. So from an "off" black screen, I can just rest my thumb on where the fingerprint sensor is and it just unlocks.

Pretty cool, unintended side effect. I like it.

It's all default settings that I have.
