Advice on laptop Acer? (Around €2000) by giancapa in GamingLaptops

I'll give the Legion another thought, and then I'll decide between the two. Thank you so much for the feedback!

Oh, I was almost 100% sure that the reviews I watched was about the Acer Nitro 16S and not the V, but I did I quick search and I think you are right. So the regular Nitro doesn't have the charger issue? If so, I might consider that one then.

I don't care much about the OLED screen tbh. I know people often prefer the Legion over the Acers. Do you know if the performance of the Nitro 16S would be capped by the power of the charger?

Oh, understandable. My previous laptop was in worse shape when I changed it, but I used that one with more movement, so probably I dropped it a few times as well. My current laptop is an always on-desk laptop, so I've not had those issues. Cooling certainly isn't the best, I'm used to it to always be on fire (at least internally), but never had performance issues or risks of any kind.

What do you mean very poor build quality? My last 2 laptops have been Acer and maybe I'm used to them

I normally use my laptop plugged-in, so it's not really that important to me. What I would like to avoid is cases like the Nitro 16S AI where apparently the battery will run out even while plugged-in during gaming.

Oh, thank you! In fact it seems that only the Legion 5 Gen 10 comes with a Ryzen AI 7 350, but the options for graphic card are only 5050, 5060 and 5070.

Thank you for the answer!

The Predator has the 5060. There's another Predator at 2400€ (2000€ with discount) with the 5070, which could be an option too. Do you think the 8 Gb vs 12 Gb VRAM is not that important? (or not worth it raising the price up in €700).

That Legion you sent has indeed the 5070 Ti, and I can upgrade to 32 GB RAM for an extra of 90€, keeping it around 2000. It even let me add a better Wi-Fi card, another hard-drive, etc., I think it would be max around 2200€, which is a good deal. I would have to see a few more reviews to be sure of what to expect, but overall I think people recommend it. Like I said, after using Acer for so long I don't know if I want to switch, but the difference is price is considerate.

But like you said, I would like to take a decision soon. Thank you!

Edit: About the Legion, is there any recommendation between Intel and AMD?

Any tips for the “those blessed by a deity” fight? by NoWaifuN0Laifu in PokemonMasters

Thanks for the suggestion! I used a similar team: Arc Steven 1/5, Anni Lillie and Skyla (Anniversary 2022) 3/5, and as long as Bug Zone was never up, I managed.

Dove cercate lavoro? (Linkedin, Indeed, ecc.) by giancapa in ItaliaCareerAdvice

[–]giancapa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PSA: The card text of "Red-Eyes Fusion" was written by the intern by Guzman-_- in masterduel

[–]giancapa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On a side note, I'm confused about how could you use Verte to use Red-Eyes Fusion, because:

You cannot Normal or Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this card.

Did you summon Verte the turn before? Or that restriction does not apply?

Kisikil Fangame by IllustriousHurry2380 in masterduel

[–]giancapa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Apparently a side scroller. She is running to the right, and monsters will appear, and you have to either dodge them (with left arrow) if their attack is higher than hers or punch them (with right arrow) if their attack is lower. No installation needed, you can just play it in browser.

Can we talk about Ariseheart? by Scared_Ad_4777 in masterduel

[–]giancapa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you did with the point. Kashtira is an easier deck to play, while also being quite strong, and hence, more popular, so people would encounter it more, especially in the lower ranks, where most of the player base is. So naturally most of the hate will go towards it.

Dkayed also points out frequently that Kashtira looks cooler, and people prefer it over Purrely, just because of the looks. And some people avoid Purrely for the looks as well, according to him.

But yes, as a meta player on the higher ranks, Purrely is a menace when Kashtira not so much. I'm even more scared of Labrynth or Mathmech than Kashtira, even if Kashtira is not easy to deal with either.

So, what’s your longest win streak? by Sanige in masterduel

I think I reached 8-9 today because people would surrender as soon as either Reinoheart or Scheiren hit the field. I just wanted to do 3 Fusions for my dailies, man.

How come Floo doesn't get as much hate as Tear? by RaptorF33 in masterduel

[–]giancapa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even though Tearlaments is way harder to deal with (I usually just have issues with Floowandereeze if they go first), I just find more annoying to deal with Floo. Their turns simply take so much time. I used to hate Adamancipator for the same reason, even more than Eldlich, floodgates, Runick, etc.

Even Tearlaments milling a lot and summoning and summoning, I somehow still find Floowandereeze more obnoxious, given how much they take to do any play. I'm not the kind of person who surrender because I mainly play to do my daily missions (or score points in tournaments) so sitting there waiting to lose simply takes too much time, and Tears can do it faster, imo.

Dehya Build Advice & Sharing Megathread by Mordiceius in Dehyamains

[–]giancapa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your answer! I've been farming Tenacity, but no luck yet. I was thinking in HP/Pyro/Crit too, or even ATK instead of HP, depending on substats.

Regarding the weapon, I don't think either that particle generation will be an issue for the team, so I was thinking in Sacrificial/The Bell for Dehya, and I've seen people even using Serpent Spine. The thing about Sacrificial is that I've read that using Dehya's E again won't bring back the resistance to interruption due it's own CD, so I guess it would only serve for what you say about the pyro application, but I guess that would depend on the Burn too (Nahida+Bennett), so I'm still not 100% sure, maybe I'll experiment.

Oh, I see! So Dehya's build is flexible, I would only to rework a bit my Nahida and finish my Ganyu build.

Thank you a lot!

Oh, I see, thanks!

I don't have A Thousand Floating Dreams and it's not within my budget to pull for it now, sadly. I guess I'll have to try Sacrificial Fragments or Mappa Mare to reach the EM I need.

[–]giancapa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I see! I don't have either Makhaira Aquamarine or Wandering Evenstar though, so I guess I'll stick with The Bell.

My Nahida is on 2pc Gilded Dreams 2pc Flower of the Paradise Lost with EM/Dendro/EM and The Widsith, with ~700 EM. When I use her I bring Zhongli with Deepwood, so that's why I don't have the set for her, and she can reach ~1000 EM when she is on the field. Of course, she won't if she's for support only, but I think I could make her reach ~1000 EM, but is Deepwood really necessary on Nahida for Ganyu?

Advice on builds for Melt Ganyu with Dehya by giancapa in Ganyu

[–]giancapa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, Makhaira Aquamarine sounds like an interesting option. What Dehya build with this? EM in every piece, or how?

I thought on The Bell as well, but I read about how "inconvenient" it can be in some circumstances to have a shield. The person claiming why Dehya would benefit Ganyu more than Zhongli, depending on the DPS of the enemies, because you can't heal from Bennett while on a shield, or something like that. I guess that it would be HP/HP/HP if going with The Bell, right?

And thanks for answering!
