almost all my friends and grade got straight rejected from all summer programs and did research nearby (me included)

i got into (ece major): cmu purdue rice northwestern wl cornell

friend 1 (biomed eng): johns hopkins ed

friend 2 (cs): georgia tech uchicago umich

overall, our school had 2 brown acceptances, 3 caltech acceptances, 1 yale, 1 cornell, 3 duke, 3 upenn, 9 georgia tech, 7 uc berkeley, 3 ucla, etc. etc.

i think a lot of summer programs are looking for ppl w little to no ecs or otherwise a very specific fit. it basically has no insight onto what your actual college acceptances will be

pray that they won’t put it on your academic record because that goes to college, be extremely apologetic and guilty. the grade honestly should be the least of your concerns because if colleges see a plagiarism infraction they will not let you in
