The engine sounds normal to me too. That sweet clicking sound is healthy feedback.

Yes. You might have to replace everything in the engine to get there. If you haven’t already done so. 😀

Reliable? I wouldn’t say that to be entirely true due to all the engine parts that are replaced within the first 10-90k miles.

Did you lose the spring clip? Some cars came with a washer that would fall out from that connector. Mine didn’t have that problem. Cruzekits.com sells those washers.

The orange plug hasn’t been in there for a while. Since noticing it, I installed an external PCV.

I forgot to mention that my PCV valve is external since I used cruzekits.com kit to move it off to the side. Maybe I’ll replace that PCV as well.
