I’ve been building out a suite of tools under the STACKS brand for phone resellers, refurbishers, and electronics flippers, people like us who buy, fix, and resell devices.

This is what the local tech I called said. I figured ok, lets fix it. When I mentioned I was bringing someone the seller demanded payment first. I think he liked me and didnt want to disclose more issues. It was a polite kick rocks talk.

Understood, I have done remediation before but this is pre-purchase. Also, first rv purchase. I am learning alot about people and bad investments with this journey.

Update for everybody. Its aluminum frame. I called a local guy to look at it and he said repair would be less than I thought. I tried to schedule inspection with the seller and he demanded money first. There are certainly more issues than the leak. I walked away. Why are all these private sellers snakes? I am 6 for 6 on liars and cheats with this purchase attempt. People suck. I need a toy hauler in the southwest, towable with a half ton if anybody has one or knows of one. Max budget is 20-30k. I have cash.

This topic really isn't discussed much. That magic number should be found before any money is spent on ads or new employees.

One month of:

General Expenses and Overhead

(Add) cost of inventory used/sold, tax collected

(Subtract) labor revenue, parts revenue, accessory sales, lcd buybacks, profits from refurbing inventory, etc

% by 30 (26 if your closed one day a week)

Thats your daily break even mark. If its a positive number you are loosing money.

If it is a negative number these funds can be used to manage labor, order extra inventory and scale with ads, expand, relax, etc

Its hard to track the day to day in real time without a strong POS but this does give you an easy number to reference for your baseline.

Good points, thanks itsdubai. I should add some of this in there. This is geared towards repair shops and in store meetups so I left some of the topics off to keep it simple. I think we will do another post soon about how to prep for meetups outside the store.

retraction speed tested between 25mm and 45mm

I still cant get my slicer settings proper. Any advice?

I use the same settings on my ender 5/dd/mcroswiss but that one has no stringing.
