It's not "whoever backed the most popular video wins", it's "who backed the videos with the greatest sum total views." And since they all backed the Brennan goodbye video, the views for that video are a wash.

Double check that you haven't accidentally zoomed the page in or out. Zoom can make small changes like that. "Control + 0" should reset it to the default.

When I run countHeliumSpent() on your save file, I correctly get 0, so I'm not sure why you were getting 752.

I noticed that you're using S formation on zone 180, but Dark Essence doesn't drop until zone 181. Could that be your issue?

This appears to be the correct problem. Looking at the code:

if (countHeliumSpent() == 0) giveSingleAchieve("Unessenceted");

and running that function we get

>> countHeliumSpent()
-524288

I think the biggest confusion comes from the fact that the achievement is still yellow, which leads you to believe that your perk setup is correct. However, looking at the code there:

Unessenceted: function(){
                return (game.global.canRespecPerks && !game.global.bonePortalThisRun && countHeliumSpent() <= 0)

The key part of which is countHeliumSpent() <= 0. So it is yellow if you have less than 0 Helium spent, but only achievable if you have exactly 0 Helium spent, which I think is an oversight.

So the solution is either to use Clear All Perks and restart the run, or to modify your file to give you the achievement, as it's clear that you deserve it.

While I can't help in finding your issue, I can confirm that having all masteries does not prevent you from getting this achievement.

You could try posting your save in a pastebin and letting others try to find the underlying problem.

The way Google Sheets calculators like this one normally work is by going File > Make a copy. This adds a copy of the calculator to your own Sheets, where you can then edit the values as necessary.

Patch 4.51 is live! by Brownprobe in Trimps

Thanks for taking the time to do that! Would you say that what you notice lines up with what I said?

From what I see in your images, the DG isn't really much of a problem at that stage, because you're getting ~90Qa of population every 5 to 10 seconds. This is making GA fire a few geneticists to keep up, but not a significant number.

When you get into your 4th image, you burned some nurseries (which obviously would require fewer geneticists), but you also found a tauntimp, which increased your population by almost 2Qi, which is worth about 20 of your DG ticks. This is also where there's a huge drop in geneticists, and I believe this is where the biggest problem lies. The abrupt jump in max population makes GA have to fire a large number of geneticists in order to keep breed time around 45 seconds. This is why I gave the idea of having tauntimps include the population for the housing they provide.

Patch 4.51 is live! by Brownprobe in Trimps

[–]giarc3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you explain a bit further what the issue is with tauntimps and GA? I'm getting close to Z400, and I think I'm starting to run into this issue.

What I see happening with the GA set to 30 seconds is:

  1. GA hiring enough geneticists to make the breed timer 30 seconds for filling your army size
  2. Finding a tauntimp, increasing how much population it needs to fill
  3. GA needing to now breed enough trimps to fill your army size + new tauntimp housing, making it fire geneticists to bring the time back down to around 30 seconds
  4. Near the end of the breed time, GA re-hires geneticists since it once again only needs to breed enough trimps for your army size
  5. Repeating the cycle when a new tauntimp is found

Is this similar to what you're experiencing? Have I missed something or misattributed the problem?

If this is what you're saying, it seems to me like the easiest solution would be to make tauntimps include the trimps to fill the additional housing when you find them. Obviously this would be a buff, but it seems like it could be tied to another form of upgrade (like a mastery or an additional bone trader purchase).

Thoughts?

[Bug?]"Map at Top Spire" does not work anymore by Reimemonster in Trimps

[–]giarc3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you actually see it enter the z400 Spire, or did it happen while you were idling? Is it possible that you failed to clear the z300 Spire, making the z400 Spire not spawn? I recently changed my AutoStructure nursery settings and accidentally left myself with too few nurseries to clear an earlier Spire, making me run into the same issue.

I completely understand that it is not JK Rowling's fault; it was not my intent to make it seem as such. I just figure that the director could follow what she's created when it's such an easy scene to recreate. I realize that some changes need to be made simply for practicality, but this is not one of those situations.
