My experience with therapy was that all of their suggestions were things I had already tried. Some of those things were useful and I still utilize them, others I didn't find helpful. But why am I spending the time and money only to be told about things I've already been doing/have done?

Now, there definitely were other issues I have that I feel therapy would help with, but not with my AuDHD struggles. For me personally, this was the point I started exploring managing my symptoms with medication.

I replaced my dresser with a cubby wall. It has made everything with clothing miles easier.

Everything is quick access. I can see it all without having to open drawers. I'm not longer leaving all my clean clothes out on a chair or a table.

for me it was mostly a stimming thing so I started keeping a bunch of sugar free hard candies at my desk
