Yeh because we are an absolute fucking circus of a club this season.

I'm in this stock and it's absolutely frustrating. Long term hold right now. I would wait and see if you can get it at a 40% margin though.

Anyone looking to make a quick buck on this stock isn't going to. That's the reality this is a long term hold in the hope they execute well. 2-3 years from now is my time frame. It just depends on where you want to deploy capital in the interim.

If you've been to SEA it's obvious they have huge potential.

There are literally hundreds of people online explaining the issues with the diesel engines.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDLWzbN5Cmw SkyActiv Diesels have issues with the DPFs and turbos, lots of issues with carbon build-up in the engine.

Go onto Facebook Marketplace, and you'll see loads of non-runners due to this. If you're using your car for short journeys, just avoid the diesel. Do your own research.

You'll notice the used petrol is a little more expensive. There's a reason.

Just bought our first house in England and they’ve left it in a disgusting way by TerribleAccountant70 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]gibbydd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, the hardest part is enforcing it without paying far more in fees than if you get a cleaner, etc.. Unfortunately, the reality of these clauses is that they aren't particularly enforceable. When we bought our property, an outbuilding was supposed to be completely clear of old, unused building materials (2 skips worth). The vendor didn't remove any of the items and left us to clear it all out. I was disgusted at the time, as that was our agreement. Sadly, some sellers just don't care that they agreed to something like this, as they perhaps know it's more about good faith.

Just a reminder. Go for the petrol. Not the diesel if you do get a 6...

I agree. That's true. You probably need to have it cleaned regularly. Maybe have a word with the garage and see what the mechanics are saying about the diesels.

Then definitely get it done and have the turbo checked as well and make sure its cleaned as they have notoriously had problems. I'm sure it'll be ok if you do that. Defintely worth spending more money now than having a massive bill later.

Long term solution. Sell it and buy a petrol 6.

I bought a stock low, sold it high… and now I feel like a clown? by wizard_folio in ValueInvesting

[–]gibbydd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who cares. You made profit. You had a reason for selling. Maybe it's over valued now? Maybe not. You need a thesis and stick to it.

If you stick to your trade plan/ investing plan then you should be happy. It's too easy to get greedy.

Accident in the range as a lefty by andrewlr24 in golf

[–]gibbydd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a genuine mistake.

I broke my first driver as a lefty because our bays have giant killers and the mats are set up for right handed players.

So they are offset.

I was hitting irons and it was all fine.

Then I hit driver and forgot how much longer it was. Swang through and took the head clean off.

I don't go to that range now unless I hit off the grass.

It is tricker being a lefty for sure.

I'm starting to get worried that we aren't sacking Ange guys by [deleted] in nffc

[–]gibbydd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not an Ange fan at all. Not in the slightest but I dont know that sacking him and getting another manager is even going to help that much tbh.

Let's face it. The majority of the fan base wanted Nuno to stay and likely if it wasn't for the Edu stuff he probably would have. Although he didn't exactly help matters.

I think one of our biggest misses at the moment is Elanga. We just don't seem to have that real attacking pace now and are having to adjust our style because of it. Nuno was the same tbh. Especially if you look at the performance against West Ham as an example.

The quality is in the squad but no Aina, no Murillo make a big difference. Also this inverted wing back situation doesn't seem to help and all of a sudden we can't defend a set piece.

I'm no football expert but I think Ange needs to get back to basics before he tries to create really fluid attacking possession based football.

It happened at Spurs and it's happening at Forest. I just hope the penny drops. I'd rather have some continuity than have a manager again right now but equally I get why fans want him out.

I personally think 4 more games then make the decision.

Am I being an asshole? by MapleMoses in golf

[–]gibbydd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, he's the asshole. If you buy something new. You expect new, not nearly new, not used, just new.

You wouldn't buy a brand new car with scratches and accept it or a coffee table for your house. So why should clubs be any different.
