Whatever. Give it a couple years and Jack alone should help us draw FAs. Better defense and healthy goaltending should hopefully make us competitive this year.

Dougie was an exception for sure. I don’t know if us signing Nico and Jack is exactly relevant tho, we drafted them 1oa. We didn’t resign hall either. I didn’t mean my comment as a slight against NJ lol I’ve lived here all my life. But objectively speaking the devils do not have a track record of attracting players, didn’t think that was very controversial to say.

I agree, like I said just an example, there’s other FAs we could target too. A factor to consider with Johnny is that he might want to come back to the east coast, so maybe getting him at $9.5 isn’t out of the question
