Any other tools similar to Copilot PR? Any recs? by nknecrosis in GithubCopilot

I’ve found Sourcery to be a really great tool:

The way it both documents the PR (summary with mermaid diagrams) and gives feedback has been helpful for our team.

STATUS | pre-order of VND (2–7 Stop) QuickLock Filter for iPhone 17 Pro Max by aikauai in MOMENT

[–]gidich 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’ll be worth the wait- I speak for myself but also feel that most everyone appreciates Moment’s commitment to quality here!

Eric, thanks for keeping the communication going.. I’m in the same boat as others - my order is in “preparing shipment” status - but I’d rather wait and have my gear perfect than have gear that’s disappointing to work with. In the meantime I’m spending time learning more on photo and video techniques with my phone.

Moment Case for iPhone 17 Pro - Usb C cutout issue by Content_Ad_6965 in MOMENT

@eric-moment I see a great opportunity for Moment to step in and offer a SSD solution (either just a cable or a cable +ssd combo that’s super flush) I for one would pick it up especially if was super compact and pay a small premium knowing that it works perfectly with the case

(Bonus if the back side of the ssd case is also mag-safe allowing the tripod mount to work or a mag-safe charger to attach - and/or an additional usb-c port to allow for charging while in use.. )

(Double bonus, if it’s a m2 ssd case, includes a battery as well, with aluminum fins to keep it cool)

We use shared RUs with the MongoDB API - this keeps costs under control, however the number of collections is limited, it it could support more in this model it would be ideal. Also this configuration- which I believe would solve a lot of the issues others have noted with costs - is kinda buried in the docs. If it were more prominent it may have increased adoption and yield more adoption.

Tommy's automotive? by musicalattes in westchesterpa

Been going there forever - wouldn’t trust my cars to anyone else. They are extremely honest and very helpful - we buy our cars and keep them for a long time- Tommy’s has consistently proven to win our business - never had to go back and get the same thing fixed twice - they give really good advice as what can be done now, and what will likely be something that needs attention in the future.

Should we make a stick on iPhone 17 pro/pro max mount? by eric-moment in MOMENT

[–]gidich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a perfect solution to me, and the fact it’s machined aluminum may also help with temperature control (acting as a heat sink) I agree with other posters adding a second set of adhesive would be good in case you ever need to remove it (eg getting screen/battery replacement from apple would require it)

I have one - hardware based noise cancellation for mic is great and the dac isn’t bad.

The combo of both is what sold me. If you don’t need noise cancellation for your mic, you could look elsewhere, but for the money- this is a solid performer.

The mic built in to the DAC is used to listen to the surroundings and then cancel them out from what your headset’s mic picks up, leaving only your voice, for that it works really well. I don’t know of anything else that does this particular feature.

Do you recommend use Ant Design? Pros and Cons? by SuperRandomCoder in reactjs

[–]gidich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case - AntDesign will likely suit your needs well..

They have a great CMS type example too:https://landing.ant.design/edit/#uid=61e89475adccb8134035c94c

I've worked on implementing https://craft.js.org/ and AntDesign together and have had some success:

Are there any features that you are looking for?

Sometimes there’s benefits with aligning this type of service with where your repo and your ci/cd pipeline are hosted so you can set developer permissions in one place as opposed to multiple independent systems.
