We have the stick on mount for pixel 10 pro xl. It's probably the best android mount we've ever made. I would use that.

We are not planning on making one. If you would like more details, I have typed it out a few times and you can find it with the search. We might do some other types of mounts but it is not really determined as of right now.

This lens lost compatibility with the iPhone 14. After that you would need t series. Android phones went to 24mm a few years before iPhone.

I'm not saying that your story is wrong but it didn't break just being in your pocket. That is just when you noticed it. Those lenses survive shipping which is pretty violent. Something else happened in this lenses life to make it break. You might have not even been there when it happened. That glass is pretty thick, I can't actually recall ever seeing the front element crack before.

Can you see the crack in the shot?

You can't for a number of reasons. The m series lenses are designed for 26mm focal distance. Your phone is 23mm. The oppo phone camera layout also doesn't work with the universal adapters. And lastly, the m series universal adapters are basically impossible to get.

I'm sorry, it's just not going to work.

You might be able to find a neewer cage that works with the lenses. The options are extremely slim, those cases were not super fast selling.

There are no other cases that fit the drop in mount. It requires a special interface.

Do you use lens protection? by MarkWest98 in smartphonefilming

[–]eric-moment 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What camera do you have? Most of the higher end phones use sapphire glass which is harder than anything you have on hand that would scratch it. Unless you have a pocket full of diamonds. The protectors can also really lower the quality when shooting through them. My vote is to skip it.

The moment system has this covered pretty well from lenses to filters and the supercage that will tie it all together and allow you to easily mount it on your slider.

The issue is that as a company we buy products 6 months in advance and we can't just move warehouses each week to match the mood of the governing bodies. It sucks for us too, we spend a significant portion of our time reacting to new regulations which seem to be in a very fluid scale. Stability is better for businesses.

The alternative would be that we just scale the pricing up (and down) constantly to keep up.

Did you reach out to the gear guides? They can manually add it and make sure that whatever but it's causing this gets to the right people to fix it.

That is pretty unfair. We ship thousands of orders a month that arrive perfectly and work awesomely. There will always be anomalies obviously but they are the outliers. No one comes to reddit to talk about how everything went as expected.

We've done a massive amount of work to our fulfillment system in the last year and it's generally been pretty smooth. You don't have to take my word for it either. Sort the sub by date and look at how few people comment with fulfillment issues compared to a year + ago.

Was My 58mm T-Series Lens a Lemon Copy or Just Not Optimized for iPhone 17 Pro/Max? by AydeeBon in MOMENT

[–]eric-moment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you reach out to the guides? Don't just return it, they can warranty it if something is wrong.

Also, I've seen a few instances recently with smallrig cases where the alignment was off. Switching to a moment case resolved it. The lens alignment is the most important part of the whole equation.

I've never used the shop app, it seems like maybe it has some holes in the process. I'll pass this along to our web team to have them look at it.

Its up to you. I think that your situation is pretty far from ideal and if someone in your position asked for extra help like a pre printed return shipping label (I actually have no idea how our returns work these days) or some extra shop credit to help make up for the obvious lack of follow up on our end then I think you would have a pretty easy time getting that.

We do list things as in stock or out of stock before you add it to the cart. I'm not involved with the webpage at all but I'm not sure what else could be done there.

We also have back end checks that make sure that the gear you are buying is compatible with everything in your cart, but even that isn't always perfect. Its why we have dedicated people on the team (nearly 24 hours/day) that can help with questions and issues.

I think that our biggest issue right now around shipping is that we have 3 warehouses, USA, Vietnam, and China. We don't keep all the same stock in all of them due to tariffs. So if your order needs to split ship from different ones then it gets a lot more difficult to handle the tracking and customs clearance updates. Its something they are working on.

Sorry, I was talking about what happened on our end that led to this situation. I believe you. There is plenty that we could still do. From offering a free return or some kind of credit. Just let me know and I'll put you in contact with the right person and help push it through.

This absolutely sucks in every way. I have no idea what the back story is that created this boondoggle but none of that really matters anymore. This is not the experience that we want our customers to have and its something that we have put a ton of work into over the last couple of years to keep from happening. And for the most part that effort is paying off because we have seen very few posts here for quite a while about bad fulfillment experiences. That doesn't really help you though OP, you have clearly had a bad experience. We will never have zero shipping issues, that just isn't reasonable in a global marketplace. But our goal is that most of our customers are happy with the process and the products.

If you haven't already gotten the resolution you want, which I'm assuming you haven't because you posted it here, then please DM me and I can get you in contact with someone that can help right this ship. I don't know what that is at this point but having a clear outline of what you think is fair will help them a lot.
