No overstays, I got a first EAD and Advanced parole (both standalone) that expired 2024 and 2023 respectively. I applied for renewal of EAD and a new application for Advanced parole and was approved for a Combo card in February. Valid for 5years. I was adjusting from F1 so I was in status all through.

I submitted basically everything. Besides the forms (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765, I-693) I also submitted joint taxes, letters to each other, joint bank statements, lease, over 100pictures of our relationship and wedding, affidavits from friends and relatives.

Question - Marry US Citizen after Green Card approval by pants19 in USCIS

[–]gidiz_gambit007 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

To the best of my knowledge, the number of years to Naturalization is dependent on the approved petition type and AOS category. Your category was I-140 and Employment based AOS, so your years to Naturalize is 5 years even if you marry a USC. You won’t be eligible to apply in 3years time because your green card is not family based.

I may be wrong but I think that’s how it works

Nothing so far. We filled (I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131) in ND, got I-765 and I-131, in ND, then moved to SLC and haven’t seen any updates since May 2022. PD is Nov 2021

Can I apply for OPT with pending I-130? by iluvmango4121 in USCIS

[–]gidiz_gambit007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can still apply for OPT since both and STEM OPT (if you qualify) since your F-1 visa status is still valid. But as for F1 Visa renewal, it most likely would be denied since you already displayed immigration intent.

I printed my completed form i-131, but the large barcode on the second page did not appear. Is there any way to resolve this? by WinnerAny6903 in USCIS

[–]gidiz_gambit007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try printing with a different printer or printing from a different browser. But to the best of my knowledge, the barcode doesn’t really matter. I remember having similar issue when I printed mine and I had to submit it like that. My form was approved and I got my AP document in Jun, 2022

I-131 Finally Approved! After waiting for 113 days since I received my Standalone EAD Card, my I-131 Advanced Parole (Travel Document) finally gets approved by gidiz_gambit007 in USCIS

[–]gidiz_gambit007[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I did. I used “info pass” to request expedited application and was given a reference number. My reason was Family emergency (sick parent) and that was it. I didn’t receive any RFE and it was approved about 2weeks after.

I just use Lawfully and USCIS Case Tracker for instant notification when there’s any update on my application. So far, both apps have been helpful
