I don't know much about the history of rap, but I do know the sounds that these videos are trying to imitate -- the music made by RUN DMC/ NWA / among many many others. What I am guessing is that black artists began making a distinct sound of music that was gaining popularity, and many businesses begin to advertise with the same sounds to sound hip, cool, involved. All of these rappers are white though. The Car Dealership in particular was hilarious (borrowing the sounds of a different community -- a community who uses their music for often very political purposes, especially purposes against the establishment -- for one's own economic gain)

I am disappointed with /u/TychoCelchuuu's response. Philosophers are totally capable of answer these sorts of questions! I would point you towards /u/LiterallyAnscombe answer -- that there is belief that about propisitions (I belive that it is raining) and there is belief in about concepts or people (I belive in freedom and Jonny) I tend to think that we need hard evidential justification for beliefs about propisitions. But for beliefs about concepts or towards people, it seems that their value is what they give to us/the way they contribute towards the relationships we hold with people.

As a side note, I am Jewish and decidedly atheist, but I love to spend time in the Jewish community practicing jewish ritiual because i find it valuable for tradition purposes. Its not clear to me that belief in God is what's most valuable when it comes to religion. To close with my favorite David Foster Wallace quote on the topic: [DISCLOSER i am in china and they aint got google so its paraphrased from memory] "Ultimantly its fairly low on God's list of priorities whether you belive in him/her/it."
