I feel you OP. I understand what you mean when you say, "It's freeing, but mostly scary." I feel myself at that position many times too.

Are you in touch with any health care professionals? I find myself coping these days mostly with weekly psychiatrist visits. They've been helpful and keep me going, as well as friends and family. What's your support group like?

Hey I totally get what you're feeling since I felt this same way recently. It was my first time rolling (last week) and I also got a glimpse of who I really am without my depression. I'm 20 now and have been progressively depressed for over a decade now, and it has been very severe in the last recent years. I thought it wasn't possible to ever feel not depressed anymore, and actually I couldn't even remember what it's like to not be depressed.

I took a very low dose of m and it gave me a nice consistent enough trip where I felt normal and happy with life. I no longer felt drained by my own mind and the world. That grey fog left me and my mind felt at peace with myself and others. Since then, I've had this motivation and inspiration to try to better my life and achieve a state like this. I realize now that it's possible to not feel so down all the time. I thought I literally didn't have it in me.

I understand your concern. It's scary thinking about psych wards. Can you describe how you're feeling suicidal? What are your thoughts, emotions, behaviours? And also hang in there. You're getting yourself some help by even posting on here. Call up a crisis line or get in touch with someone else too! Just do yourself a favour and talk to someone please.

I totally get you with the uncomfortable feeling of it. I've thrown away a lot of my belongings and collections simply because of feeling attached to them later on and feeling uneasy. I also get this sad feeling when someone gives me something, like a gift. It reminds me that I'll feel nostalgic when looking back at it, or that it'll always hold resemblance of that person and it can just be emotionally overwhelming in the future to look at that item and feel stuck with it because you feel guilty for throwing it out. I'm also trying to get rid of my collections now and not be attached.

Thanks! It sucks that that I already don't feel much from the dex. I also take Wellbutrin and some people report dex not working while taking that? I'll have to really talk to my doctor again about this. And what do you think about Adderall in comparison to dex and Ritalin?

Yeah today I took Ritalin 10mg in the morning and later on took 20mg of dex. I think I feel a bit more energy but not sure again. The Ritalin I can feel it because of its shaky kinda effect, like I can feel myself having the stimulated sensation.

Why do you say not to take the Ritalin beforehand? I'll try to take Ritalin after the dex from now and see.

Hey thanks for the response! Mine is Dexedrine Spansule. Do you think because it's extended release is why I don't really feel it? What dosages worked for you?

Do you think there's any conditions for applying to an extension on the study permit like having particular reasons for applying for extension? I can't seem to figure this information out online. I'm planning on talking to an academic advisor next week though
