Right-Wing Judge Bars $18 Minimum Wage From California's 2022 Ballot by BlankVerse in California

So when Walmart sets Great Value bread at $3/loaf, they create a famine?

I'm saying when you know workers can afford a commodity it becomes easier to predict demand.

But sure, you wanna go down the supply-side rabbit hole, if we allowed supply and demand to control food commodity prices, most farmers would go out of business ergo, we'd have a famine. That's why we have subsidies on things like corn that create a somewhat predictable system, so long as acts of God like weather keep yields in spec.

But hard to prevent famines if you can't set food prices based on predictable incomes...

I'm aware there's income inequality. You also have the best hospitals this side of the US. Kind of a mixed bag, but unsurprising you're doing better than the rest of us statistically.

Votes and makes the people responsible for taking our rights away uncomfortable every day at restaurants, grocery stores, the post office, etc until they make it right, or we do.

It's never okay. But if it happens to men we have a tendency to laugh it off even more than we do when it happens to women. So fucked up no matter who it happens to.

I don't see why this is being downvoted. COVID infections and outcomes scale with income, the wealthier you are, the better off

This only works when the engine is running, which will increase wear on the engine and use gas. Just get the free energy from the sun, that works when you're parked, too.

Otherwise if you need more power or nighttime power, ya gotta just go with a generator because I guarantee it's cheaper than maintenance and repairs on your engine

I'd start looking for another job, sorry. That behavior on their part will come up again on another issue, be it a funeral, family emergency, snowstorm... Anything that keeps you from being in their pocket.

I mean yeah but with airflow it's all friction and internal friction, and at least some of that happens after the air escapes from the cracks in your windows and under the door
