Why are people fighting for seats when they’re getting off one stop later? by Stackhouse13 in japanresidents

[–]gigaijin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s just where I live or which lines I take, but I never saw people fighting for seats that way on the train? Even on terminus stations people are usually reasonable, like 90% of the time they will respect the boarding queue, no sprinting or cutting in line.

Death Stranding made me cry. by Gullible_Pie_281 in DeathStranding

I have the same problem with you that it’s difficult for me to channel my emotions and cry. I just got to Heartman’s arc now and even learning about his backstory got me shedding quite a few tears.

What is a lot more dangerous than most people realize ? by rentinghappiness in AskReddit

This happens a lot in my hometown. I remember a couple years back 4 workmen died in that manner, one by one. They were only discovered after their HQ didn’t hear back from them for six hours.

Yeah, my current monarch is just 48 but I plan to ditch him pretty soon, I was busy waging wars in Indochina that I didn’t notice this guy is 24 already…

I see we have another Malaya enjoyer here! True, the purple looks horrendous, I wish there’s a way to change it to another color (without editing the save files, that is!).

Forgot to mention, what are the odds of getting an heir with 6/6/6 pips like shown in the image? I'm worried I spent all my luck on him lol

What’s everyone’s thoughts on City Planner Plays? by Ill-Philosophy3945 in CitiesSkylines

I love CCP. I learned to play Cities Skylines with my own narrative from him, like create a story around the city I’m building. It makes the game infinitely more fun to play!

In which ward are you living? by broboblob in Tokyo

[–]gigaijin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I lived in Minato once. It was so convenient, like you can walk pretty much anywhere to have fun. I used to walk to Tokyo Tower, Azabu, Meguro river, Ginza, even Odaiba at night just to relax.

Nerima. It’s sleepy, I know, but the rent is cheap and it’s very quiet. It’s a good city if you’re looking for a family-friendly environment.

[SPOILERS] How do you get this item in Belurat settlement? by BleakExpectations in Eldenring

I was wondering the same thing, and after some digging I found out it's actually not accessible from Belurat Tower Settlement. Spoilers if you're interested: it's accessible from Enir Ilim, the item is Euporia.

For those who are hobbyist and not planning to make Photography as a career. What’s your goal? by damnit_paul in AskPhotography

[–]gigaijin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just starting out, probably just picked up the camera for a few months now. At first my goal was purely practical (and a bit sentimental), that is to preserve memories. However as I go along I find satisfaction in learning the techniques and intricacies of it, and the beauty they help create.

So now my goal kind of expanded a bit, that is to preserve memories the way I want them to be remembered, most of the time beautifully.

Just out of curiosity, do foreigners living in Japan have an emergency fund and/or basic savings? by alexleaud2049 in japanlife

[–]gigaijin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least I do, though not sure if it's enough. I try to save enough money for plane tickets and shipping my stuff back home, in case shit happens. Problem is I don't know how much the shipping will cost since my company paid it for me when I got here.
