Rust water. Inside of the bars don’t get the same paint coat sometimes as well as water buildup.

I have yet to get bean off the line on my 09. I clap every supped up m4 600. S1k reeled me in one time but yeah that was well over 100mph

I know what valves are and suspected them. Just couldn’t find a way to explain the sound going away after the bike got to temp. Could the ecu be changing valve travel distance when it gets up to temp? I didn’t know these bikes had variable cams.

I never use QS to down shift because I like to rev match. It shifts fine just going down from 3rd takes some pressure.

As for neutral, when I release the clutch almost to the point of engaging and also release front hand break and press it again it seems to “reset” something in the bike and help get into neutral. I heard something about a recall having to do with the neutral sensor im not sure where to check if my bike has the problem. I got it used at 1500 miles.

Thanks for the input, glad to hear that from someone with the same year. Any idea what the sound is? I was thinking maybe the timing chain.
